Waffles - #2

definition:
According to the websterʻs dictionary, a waffle is a crisp golden-brown pancake with deep indentations on both sides; yet interestingly the word waffle is also used to describe someone who is unable or unwilling to make a clear decsion about what to do.  To avoid any confusion, it is imperative that I clarify that I am not refering to the later of the two definitions.  In fact I

to be unable or unwilling to make a clear decision about what to do

meyers brigg personality test...

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator is a self-inventory designed to identify a person's personality type, strengths, and preferences. The questionnaire was developed by Isabel Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs based on their work with Carl Jung's theory of personality types.
Today, the inventory is one of the most widely used psychological instruments in the world.
Based on the answers to the questions on the inventory, people are identified as having one of 16 personality types. The goal of the MBTI is to allow respondents to further explore and understand their own personalities including their likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, possible career preferences, and compatibility with other people. No one personality type is "best" or "better" than any other one. It isn't a tool designed to look for dysfunction or abnormality. Instead, its goal is simply to help you learn more about yourself.

Are you a waffle or spaghetti - #4

Brunch anyone?

Now before we can go any further, the first thing we need to establish is what exactly a waffle or a spaghetti looks like.  In fact, it is very possible to even have a variety of waffle personalities and a nice variation of sauces for the spaghetti.  Putting all giggles aside, it is an important factor to determine whether or not you would eat one with the other.

section 1 : Personal Relationships - #7

How much of a waffle can you handle?

In the 90ʻs, cars were still being manufactured with lighers and images of cigarettes and smoke imprinted on the front.  Well the moment my boyfriend sat in my car, and adjusted the knob so that the smoke was facing the proper direction, upwards, I should have known he was a serious waffle.  Regardless of this obvious "this man is definitely a waffle" clue, I still married him!  He and I both agree, that our lives would be much easier today if I was a waffle as well or if he was as much of a spahetti as I am.  And the truth is, I am spaghetti with spicey marinara sauce and he is the epitmy of a plan belgian waffle.  I suppose we epitomize  the theory that "opposites" do attract, but I am not too sure if the theory took any further steps to discover whether it is best to short live or long live the attraction.  Would I have been happier with another bowl of spaghetti or a waffle with strawberries, syrup and whip cream and would my husband have been  happier with another waffle or spaghetti sauteed in a garlic and olive oil.

Perhaps this is what couples need to think about before making the big leap into marriage.  It isnʻt a question of compatiblity, it is more a question of how much of a difference can you handle. This may sound somewhat negative, but it is true;  and as they say, sometimes in life, the truth can hurt.
